Here we're offering a closer look at the best business masters programmes in 2022.

QS World University Rankings: Business Masters Rankings 2022 has been released today.

The Business Masters Rankings 2022 highlight the best graduate masters programs across the world. We ranked over 500 programs this year from over 40 countries, and many more were analyzed. Data was collected in early 2021, using three surveys; the QS Global Employer Survey, the QS Global Academic Survey and a survey completed by the business schools themselves.

Let's take a look at the top programmes per specialisation to gain a little more insight.

Finance

The top three programmes in this year's Masters in Finance ranking are as follows:

  1. Saïd Business School: MSc Financial Economics
  2. HEC Paris School of Management: Master in International Finance
  3. London Business School: MSc in Financial Analysis

Management

The Masters in Strategic Management at HEC Paris School of Management is the number one programme for Masters in Management according to QS Business Masters Ranking 2022.

In second place is the Masters in Management programme at London Business School and in third place is ESSEC Business School's Advanced Masters in Strategy & Management of International Business (SMIB).

Business Analytics

The number one programme in this year's Masters in Business Analytics ranking is MIT Sloan School of Management's Master of Business Analytics programme.

UCLA Anderson School of Management's Master of Science in Business Analytics programme is second place, followed by the Master of Science and Technology in Data Science for Business programme at Ecole Polytechnique/HEC Paris in third place.

Ecole Polytechnique/HEC Paris is the only business analytics programme to score a perfect score for employability. In fact, looking at the thought leadership indicator, both MIT and Ecole Polytechnique/HEC Paris's programmes landed the number one spot in the ranking too.

And MIT Sloan and Anderson's programmes both earned the joint-highest score for alumni outcomes in this specialisation.

Marketing

The top three programmes in this year's Masters in Marketing ranking are as follows:

  1. Master in Marketing at HEC Paris School of Management
  2. MS in Marketing Science at Columbia Business School
  3. MSc Strategic Marketing at Imperial College Business School

Supply Chain Management

Although the Masters in Supply Chain Management ranking was a new addition to QS's Business Masters in 2020, the specialisation continues to be a popular one.

MIT’s Center for Transportation & Logistics's Master in Global Supply Chain Management is the number one programme yet again, and WU Vienna University of Economics and Business's moved up to second place from third.

And rounding off the top three is Michigan Ross School of Business's Master of Supply Chain Management.

MIT’s Master in Global Supply Chain Management programme ranked first in the world across all outcomes except for the diversity indicator.
